DIGITAL X-RAYS
Q. Why is it important to have x-rays?
Often a normal visual examination may not reveal decay between teeth, decay under fillings, infection or bone less so we do recommend having x-rays every 2 years with your check up.
We use digital x-rays which are far better than conventional x-rays because they
– Reduce radiation exposure to yourself – digital x-rays require up to 90% less radiation than the standard films used in the past
– Are better for the environment as there is no need to dispose of chemicals for regular film processing
– Produce an instantaneous and clear result straight onto our computer screen, and are stored easily and efficiently eliminating paper files as well as risk of damage or loss of the film.
